The Aftermath

So we are now officially married! Dan and I are so happy with how the whole day turned out. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and that is what we both wanted. We had beautiful weather and the farm was all ours to take in and explore, which I noticed a lot of our guests did! Both of us were excited to have everyone we loved together to celebrate as well.

Now that the big day is over, we are slowly getting back to reality over here. The summer has a lot in store for us and we have plans to work on the house and relax a little to enjoy it. I will also be starting a new design company so a lot of my time will go towards that. All good things to come, I say.

2 Weeks to Go!

I just wanted to say how happy and appreciative Dan and I are for all the lovely gifts we received at the bridal shower and from the people who couldn't show up. We love everything! And with only 2 weeks to go, we are excited and antsy for May 20th to come around. I have been making sure all the details are taken care of and the last few projects are finalized for our special day and I have to say its been a blast. Stressful but fun for sure!

We both can't wait to see all of you at the wedding and have the best time of our lives. I still can't believe we are homeowners and are getting married! The 14 day countdown begins now....yay!

Invites are Out!

So happy to finally get the invitations out to all our guests. It took me awhile to get the design just perfect but creating them and preparing them all was a fun project. Just in case you are all wondering why there is so much postage, we had a small issue that I guess we can laugh at now.

After I weighed them and looked up the price online, I got a little confused with what was listed and gave them $1.90 postage. So after some frustration and $100 more later, we had the stamps on and ready to go. Today, we came to learn they are just .45 cents and I must say I learned my lesson. I guess this is stuff that may happen when you are doing too much and have a head filled with a million things to do!

So enjoy the lovely vintage stamps we chose and don't forget to RSVP please. See you all in May!

Get Ready Ladies!

The bridal shower has finally been set and invites have gone out. I am so excited to spend the afternoon with all the lovely ladies in my life. On April 22, 2012, Earth Day, we will all celebrate with a healthy lunch and yummy treats. Everyone will also be able to see our new home. Can't wait to see you all next month!
