Our Menu

Danny and I wanted to present our guests with healthy, fresh food at our wedding. Choosing an all vegetarian/vegan menu was a given so it was just a matter of finding a caterer that can provide us with the food we wanted. After weeks of searching and lots of aggravation, we decided to go with a family friend. Since we involved other close friends to help us, this seemed to make the most sense.

Neil Russo at Buona Sera in Smithtown saved the day! A friend of Danny's brother for years, he works at the restaurant along with his father, who is the owner. Meeting with him and sharing our ideas were easy, comfortable and relieving. I was just happy to end the catering issue. It made me want to pull my hair out!

So our menu will be filled with Italian goodness. Celebrating both our Italian heritage as well as our favorite foods, the veg menu we have chosen will be loved by everyone. Throw in some fresh salads and delicious bread and we have a buffet fit for king.

Beverages

Since our wedding is on a Sunday afternoon in Spring, we thought the beverages we offered should be light, fruity and delicious. Refreshing drinks for a fresh meal. Sounds good to me!

Dessert
Choosing whether we wanted a cake or not was easy for Dan and I. Since we are both not fan of wedding cakes we opted for a tower of cupcakes with a variety of icings and flavors. They will surely be eaten all up!

In addition to our cupcakes, we will have a few more options as well as some surprises. We couldn't think of a better way to send our guests home than filling their tummies with delicious, healthy treats.
